As if having a newborn wasn't hectic enough, we thought we'd spice things up a bit this spring break and take the kids to Disney World! Haha. Though perhaps a crazy idea, we realized that if we didn't do it now while Ellington was easy, portable, and can fall asleep anywhere, we'd probably be looking at another couple years before we'd be in a place to take the whole family. So we seized the moment! And the Nixons were able to come with us too which added to the fun! We flew into Orlando, stayed at the Waldorf Astoria, did NASA Space Center the first day, Disney the second day, Legoland the third day and had a low key day at the Waldorf Astoria pool the last time before flying home. All in all, despite being a total whirlwind and a ton of logistics, it was so much fun! We had low expectations for what rides the boys would want to do given they can be anxious about new environments and rides where they don't know what to expect. They did great! Exceeded expectations! And strangely got along well and behaved apprpriotely for most of the trip! WIN! It was a trip we'll remember forever, and so fun we got to share it with our best Durham buddies too.
Here are a few highlights in photos:

Until next time, Orlando... it's been real. Maybe we'll see ya in 5 years so we can do it all over again with Ellington. My guess is we'll be doing a lot more Princess themed activities in the next round!
