Christmas 2016

Christmas was truly spectacular in the Powell household this year. Not only did we have the best little present we could have asked for in Ellington, but we had a season filled with cheer! Sleep deprivation did NOT slow us down. We covered a lot of ground, sipped many a hot cocoa, sung Jingle Bells on repeat, and felt incredibly lucky for all our many, merry blessings.

We got to spend the holiday in Nene and Pops beautiful new home in Daniel Island with Aunt Winnie and Uncle Matt too. Everyone fit perfectly and it was fun to be snuggled together under one roof. We went to Children's Museums, took bike rides, and built a whole lot of train tracks. Gigi and Gramps joined us for New Years Eve weekend and we celebrated Christmas again with them.

To say we are counting our blessings this holiday season is an understatement. 2016 was good to us in many many ways. We are so fortunate for the love, the family, and the friendships we have. It's what keeps us going day in and day out. Bring on the chaos 2017! We're ready for ya!
