Well, the summer flew by in a flash, but we couldn't think of a better way to go out with a bang than to spend a week with Gigi, Gramps, H, Carla and baby Sara Bryce in beautiful Aspen. I'll always remember this as the first trip out there with all three of my children... and no one got sick! We had amazing weather and got to be explorers of nature in so many ways. It's so fun to see the boys fall in love with the world around them by experiencing the simple pleasures of the great outdoors. Streams, rocks, trails, bridges, secret passageways, rainbows, animals, insects, dirt, mud, sticks, waterfalls. It's such good, wholesome fun. They were sponges soaking it all in. The boys were expert hikers by the end and Ellington had so much quality time with her darling cousin Sara Bryce. We came home feeling happy and grateful for an amazing summer. Recharged and ready to start another school year!
