The boys have been train crazy these days! The train table we made for Brooks' 2nd birthday has made a massive comeback after lying dormant for a year or so. Thomas episodes are on repeat, Model Railroader (yes, it's a real thing) magazine is now on our subscription list, and the boys have been to two model train shows in the area as well as the Transportation Museum in Greensboro, all on a quest to learn more about the world of railways, diesels, and steamies!
So, when it came time to decide on Halloween costumes this year, the choice was easy. Conductors!! They were both super proud to wear them in their Halloween parades at school and then on the big night itself. We trick or treated on St. Mark's Road this year with Addie and Miller and it was a unseasonably beautiful and warm night.
I am feeling large and in charge these days so I had to take a breather at the top of the hill, but otherwise we all had a blast!
Even Dad got in on the fun this year as Thomas himself!!
